Caccamo wineries presents its production at Vinitaly

A 1,100-square-meter pavilion with 68 exhibitors for Calabria, which until April 13 is at Vinitaly with the brand “Calabria Straordinaria,” bringing with it vocations and identity traits of an ancient land, stubbornly projected into the future, strong in its solid roots and which, as reported in a note from the region, “stands among the most visited at the fair.”

And among the 68 companies in Hall 12 Calabria, stand 7 welcomes, for the first time at the Verona fair, the Cantine Caccamo , a young company from Taurianova, but with historical roots.

“The Calabria that Italy does not expect – says the President of the Regional Council, Roberto Occhiuto – is a community rich in ingenuity, industriousness, imagination. Our wineries are testimony to this. Through them we will tell about our territory, our excellences, the desire to emerge and assert ourselves of a Region ready to express the best of itself in Italy and internationally.”

Regional Agriculture Councillor Gianluca Gallo, for his part, emphasizes: “At the direction of President Occhiuto and the Council we have worked, in these first months of government, to return to a prominent role in national and international trade fairs, aware of the great value of the agri-food sector and, specifically, of wine, elements of development and protection of a heritage on which to bet to write new pages, of growth and confidence.”

Cantine Caccamo, the only winery from the Plain at Vinitaly, produces high quality red, white and “bubbly” wine, taking the best that the land of Calabria has to offer and following the ancient knowledge of farmers.

“Very happy to take part in this edition of Vinitaly ,” say the Caccamo brothers. as exhibitors within the pavilion set up by the Region of Calabria! The best Calabrian winemakers are gathered in this wonderful setting, and for us to offer a product that is born and raised in our country fills us with pride.”

At Vinitaly, Cantine Caccamo presents the white Maidoma, a fascinating native grape variety with bright green hues, the rosé Gorria, an intense fruity pure Galioppo grape variety, and the red Caparbio with a blend of native Calabrian grape varieties with a unique and enveloping character with the intense aroma of red fruits and pomegranate
